The helicopter ordinance (RE: Rhema) has been recently revised:
https://library.municode.com/ok/broken_a...Id=1364491 This was started by another helicopter wanting to do a similar situation as before, but the special use permit is more streamlined. But they still miss the point. They should have been looking at the research into an airport before putting down this ordinance instead of this reinvention of the situation, to streamline the process of getting the permit. This situation may have been what recently provoked the city manager to start talking about an airport. He doesn't know what it takes to do something like that. And of course a few years ago they tried to pass a political football ordinance regarding drones. 95% of the reason for the drone ordinance doesn't even exist without an airport in the city.
