Hey Folks, I got a question.
When was the last time you shopped a traditional Mall like we grew up with?
Me: I can't remember the last time I went to a Mall.

I don’t go anymore. It has to be nigh on 8 years.
I don’t go because it is now dangerous to go where the predators lurk. Robbery and car theft. Retail theft making goods be in lockup, and younglings thinking handguns are for ego support, not an actual tool to be used with responsibility.
Oh! I forgot the card sniffers and skimmers.
So yeah. I don’t go.

So yeah. I don’t go. Yes Ma'am. Every time I go to Fayetteville I see people (younger) behaving like children. Believe it or not, walking into the VA gives me a feeling of relief and security. It's full of normal people.

We have a large mall about 10 miles away. There are good times and bad times to go shop. The bad times usually have gangs of subhumans just walking around and not buying anything. If you go early in the day it isn’t bad. There have been people shot and killed in there in the past but security has stepped up with dogs that can smell weapons and drugs. I learned to leave the gun in the truck but had a dog sniff my belt area once where I had carried a pistol. The cop was friendly and understood after I showed him nothing was there. When Sears shut down I really wasn’t interested in going much, especially not this time of year. The thugs have cost stores a lot of genuine shoppers. They should probably adopt the Costco model where you need a membership to get in.

You can't ever say you've met the dumbest or worst person on the planet. They are in competition for last place, against several million people you have not or won't ever met.
I also find that I don't go around trying to figure out every possibility of something that might happen to me, and say that won't ever happen to me. But people seem to think that you are. Some of it never crossed my mind.

Changing everything out and expecting different results is also the definition of insanity.

It's hard to live on this planet without losing your mind.
Now I'm just reduced to random, incoherent thoughts.

There is a Youtube channel that has lots of old shopping footage (not wicked old, but 70s-90s) which may as well be another age in history
because the difference in the way people are in public is like night and day. It's called Vampire Robot. Comments are full of serious longing
for the old days, and even young people wishing they were old enough to have experienced "the before time"...
