Wife wants to step up a bit from her Ruger .22 so I’ve been hesitant to get her a .38 because of the damage to her right forearm and wrist. I got this article in email today and I’ve always enjoyed Roy Huntington articles.

32 hr magnum would be a good fit if you are aiming to step up to a center fire cartridge with low recoil. But if you are willing to stay with rimfire, why not just a .22 magnum?

Also, if you want something that is similar in power/recoil to the .32hr mag but easier to find ammo for there is this....
