My neighbor puts up corn every year and she brings the water to a boil...puts the corn in and brings it back up to a boil and boils it for 3 minutes...any more than that makes it mushy. The bundt cake pan would work if all the cobs were the same size but the little ones would go through without getting all the kernels and the bigger ones would shed bits of cob. She stands it up inside a big popcorn bowl and cuts it off the cob and then puts 2 cups of corn into each 1 quart freezer bag...flattens it gently to get the air out and closes the seal. Flattened...they are easier to stack in the freezer too.

Bay tree is going brown, on-line it says not enough water, so given it a good soak. IF it doesn't perk up, I might have to repot it. It's about 9 years old so it could do with repotting with new soil.
