Charleston’s Lost Plantations & The Naval Base that reshaped American History [1895 Chicora Park]

Howdy ya’ll. Today we will dive back into the history of Charleston, South Carolina with a specific focus on a massive plantation known as “The Retreat” which may have been the earliest plantation on South Carolina soil. What we know, according to the accepted narrative, is that The Retreat Plantation once stretched over 500 acres before being purchased by the city of Charleston in 1895 to become the largest park in the city.

The infamous Olmsted Brothers were brought in to design the park, which was said to have completely removed any remains of The Retreat Plantation. Yet this urban project, which became known as Chicora Park, only stood for roughly five years, before the landscape was transformed again by the Federal Government, who purchased the land, founding the Charleston Naval Yard.

I recently visited Charleston, and while I faced a few hurdles (see my last video), with your help I’m well on my way to recovery. I also spent an entire day at the former Charleston Naval Base, documenting as much of the landscape as possible. Today will be a culmination of my journey, spliced together with a cornucopia of images from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy!

I have no idea on this one. What do y'all think about Adrenachrome?

I've done a good chunk of the drugs available to mankind. Never have I met a person who could aquire it, nor do I think any of the methods mentioned would be efficent for ingesting it.

How far does one go in order to know? Clif, organically accomplished what the Cathar perfecti administer to other potential perfecti, and the dying the rite of Consolementum. Basically they kill you with drugs, and bring you back by antidote, or drown you and resussetate you. Your knowing now includes what happens to you after you die.

This is true gnosticism. All other things in life follow a similar vein, like riding a bike, getting drunk, or having sex.
