If I was in my 20s I would be all over it.
You are not too old. I am 61 and have fully embraced it. As a self employed software developer, I wrote a program 21 years ago and have been improving on it ever since. Recently looked into using AI to create a better program. In ~10 hours I have created most of it. It should be ready for release in a month or so. At that time I expect my income to go from low 5 digits to low 6 digits. And it is only going to cost about $20 and 100 hours of my time.
Go to Grok.com and ask it something. There is a free level. You will soon be amazed too :)
I'll say this about that. I'm 75yo and do not know my way around a smartphone. Asked my wife how use hers to simply take a picture. She fingered the screen and handed it to me. By the time I was ready to take the picture I must've bumped something called Gemini which began talking to me until I shouted some expletives.
When I was young, the camera of choice was an Argus C3.
Just two weeks ago I got my first smart phone (refurbished Google Pixel 8) and I absolutely hate it. But an $8 a month plan for it vs $58 a month for the old useless land line was a no brainer.
