Is there another government shut down coming?
It's possible another government shutdown comes this week with just days left for a Senate vote, or else a partial shutdown could happen Jan. 30.
At odds on DC's Capitol Hill is a pending Senate vote to pass legislation that funds key federal departments, plus the DHS funding bill. The hope is the Senate passes the measures together before the deadline to fund the government, or else a partial shutdown takes effect at midnight Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, with many federal departments winding down operations by Saturday, Jan. 31, including the Pentagon.   https://www.delawareonline.com/story/new...get%20year.
