The Nag hamadi scrolls, which were found in the Qumron caves near the ancient Essene community, contained many hermetic texts as well as several copies of the book of Enoch, and gnostic, and coptic texts. So there was a great deal of cross pollination, idea-wise, in early Christianity.  (I know I mispelled most of that)  1dunno1
