They're doing it all over, they are even cancelling council elections in England. If councils agree, the excuse in England is "devolution"
I've not dug into this - what is it? Are they finally devolving England too?
I do not know everything, I know just enough to know that I know nothing - which is just a little more than those who think they know anything!

I've not dug into this - what is it? Are they finally devolving England too?
The Labour Party are planning to do it has quickly as possible. They've been talking about it since the last time the Labour government were in power. I still remember writing to a Professor at our local university about it in 2002 with my concerns over devolved councils being responsible for health.
Now with some of the councils going bankrupt its not a very good idea, most of the councils haven't even had audited accounts since the plandemic.
Our council have set-up so many different companies, for its different operations, its hard to keep track of what they're doing. Although we do have some experienced Tories scrutinizing the Liberal Democrat/Lab/Green running of the council.
There have been articles in the media about it. people are really cross about it.
Just reading that 12 Reform councillors have resigned over Nigel's spat with Elon Musk. Oh it goes deeper than that now I've read the article. All 12 of them are from Derby. Reform HQ are referring them to has a "rogue" branch.

It appears people broke into an army reserve center in California and stole THREE Humvees, machine gun vehicle mounts, machine gun tripods, and tried to steal uniforms.
Setting aside the obvious question: how in the name of sweet holy hell do you steal and conceal three Humvees…
These people should be immediately regarded as terrorists, not not referred to as mere “thieves”.
