Committee meetings at Leicestershire County Council - 2nd June, 2025. Adults and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee. This is when civil servants present to the scrutiny committee and the county councillors have an opportunity to scrutinise what council employees are doing. There are numerous different committees that different councillors attend depending who has been selected to sit on each committee.

Short one, there is so much more he could tell about the clocktower but he hits the historical around the clock rather than the design and figures on it, who commissioned and built it etc...
I'll let him off, it was raining, can't blame him for keeping it brief...

The UK has an amazing rich history. One the big reasons it should always remain British
![]() My Wife wanted to get married in a sari ( her choice .she did look well in it on the day )we were to go told by an Indian friend.." go to Leicster..not Bradford"...so it was a day out from Leeds.. was a bit like Bradford but Indians..they were really pleasant.. the Sikh lady that fit the dress was amazing showing the wife how to fit the sari..but one point ..never felt I needed to go into hypervigilant state..unlike Bradford.. ![]() |
