UK JULY ELECTION 2024 AFTERSHOCKS
We kick off with voting in local council elections tomorrow on the 2nd May.

Ballots will also be for Police and Crime Commissioner in at least 39 areas (don't why that has decreased from 41). The PCC's have a powerful job because they decide how the police budget will be spent. I've voted for a solicitor that has been helping the young girls that were raped by Muslim men in Rotherham etc. I hope he gets in this time.

Tomorrow people will also be voting for Mayor in some city elections and that includes Mayor London, the incumbent being Sadiq Khan. The gap has been closing between Khan and the female Conservative candidate. Interesting that there is the possibility of a female taking the position. People might actually prefer to vote for a woman rather than the Khan that has co-created Khanage.

People are saying that these elections will have an important impact upon the current government, especially if the Tories get wiped out in the local elections. The vote is usually down in local elections, so we shall see what happens. The smaller parties that have candidates standing are all hopeful that they will get some wins.

Everyone is calling for a general election, but Sunak is still planning for the back end of the year when the Americans vote.

In Scotland, the SNP leader has resigned and Scots are saying that Labour will get in. I think the issue is going to be that the Labour Party have another Pakistani Muslim running it in Scotland, and I think the Scots have had enough of that.

So what happens in Scotland this year will be interesting too.

In Wales the farmers are standing against their Labour government that refuse to change on the Net Zero policies.

In Ireland, major immigration issues going on.

They have to have ID this year, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out and what impact that has, especially in the London Mayoral vote.

I've already voted with a postal vote for my chosen Police and Crime Commissioner.

It's nice weather so we could see a good turn out tomorrow.

The gap is closing. This election is important, whoever is elected is also the Police and Crime Commissioner with authority over the Police budget and how it is spent.
