Hurricanes are a two edged sword. Tropical storms are necessary for replenishing the moisture to the land. When those storms get too big, they aren't welcome.
Right now we are having a drought in the southern half of Florida. Florida is #13 in cattle production in the US. Primarily we produce cow/calf breeding stock for other states. I'll let you know when it rains. In the mean time, the sprinkler is on every day, all day, moved around every hour. I'm on a well so I can not run more than one sprinkler at a time.
