Went back to my local coin shop today and bought (3) 2026 silver eagles @ $84 each. They aren’t the ones that have 1776-2026 date on them. Coin shop didn’t have any of those yet so I’ll just have to wait.
Honestly, I was expecting the price to be much higher. It’s still the highest price I’ve spent on an eagle.
My guy says he anticipates silver going for $300/oz this year after CME is unable to provide metal for paper contracts after March. We’ll see. Buy the dip just in case.
We talked about gold and he said he’s been selling 1/10th oz and quarter oz bars as fast as he can get them.

Did you ask Him what he was paying walkins ?

No. I’m sure it’s got be at least $5 or $6 below spot at the least. I wasn’t selling anything so I didn’t ask.

Ooh, ooh, I caught a counterfeiter on eBay!  I bought from someone with no history; they were half price .999 rounds, asked why the Seller sold them so cheaply, got them in the mail, got no response; took them to a gold place here that threw them under a Sigma reader, then an x-ray machine that shows the exact content (copper, nickel, zinc), took a picture of that, sent to eBay, getting all my money back. 

But I didn't have to return these ten beautiful fake rounds of Trump's Fight! Fight! Fight!

Anybody care to use them in crafts?  Hat decoration, belt decoration?  Even the silver on the rim was coming off on one of them, but they're awesome looking!

I was dumb, however, I know eBay almost always gets you that money back.
