Is Silver Worth $1000 Per Ounce? What If It Already Was?
Did anyone else buy the dip today? My guy didn’t have any 2026 silver eagles but I did get some pre-64 quarters. I have faith the spot price will go back up in a few days.

Did not sell and holding on to my silver and gold. Lost over $25K today but that is only true if I sell. I am in for the long term and am saving it for when the dollar is worthless.
Born and bred a proud redneck. I will not conform or give in, ever.

There were no deals on 99.999 coins. They kept the price high to keep from losing money. I don’t blame them because they bought high. You pay their price or walk away. I would do the same. But the quarters were still almost $23 each. I didn’t price dimes or halves. They probably had bought the dirty silver for cheap but still made a little profit off me. I wanted to be a good customer because they’ve helped me out a few times and wouldn’t want them to close up shop.

The price on gold and silver only went down in countries that have more investments in paper contracts than in physical metal. Futures contracts are due in March. For silver the ratio is about 1 ounce of physical to 350 ounces of paper contracts. The financial institutions trading in paper contracts would go bankrupt if they were forced to provide metal at the recent high prices so they dumped a ton of paper to suppress the price (and their losses). Physical silver in Shanghai and India is between $115 and $130 an ounce while American price is around $80. Those countries have low paper contracts. Once all this crooked manipulation is over the actual value of physical silver and gold will continue to rise. I’m in for the long run.

Same here. Told the Boss (wife) to calm dawn and focus on her other investments.
