Looks easy enuff!   [Image: p3fr2lI.gif]

Ya' could prolly add a small can of tomato paste to thicken it up a bit.    1dunno1

yes i was thinking about that..
must be some way to do that.. maybe simmering it down for longer than 5 min..?

also, instead of honey i will use maple syrup.. thats what i use in general,,
and i will use regular white vinegar instead of acv.. because i just want the tang, and not the acv flavour.
i like acv, i drink it in the morning in warm water before my coffee..
but i think it would be the wrong vinegar for ketchup.

I think simmering it a while is a good idea ~ reduce it as well as getting the seasonings mellowed.  [Image: 6hjy2X6.gif]

I use maple syrup as well ~ the missus prefers honey.  I buy it by the gallon (a lot cheaper) from an eBay vendor ~ lasts me about a year or year and a half.

I particularly enjoy it on oatmeal.   Yep

I've tried the acv thing ~ Good Lord!  My constitution is just not that strong.  Chuckle

i like honey.. but its got some kind of 'bite' to it i find.
i like maple syrup best, thats what i have on oatmeal, as well as cream
i bake with it too, lately banana bread

lol yes you have to have an amount that wont bother your system
i just use the cap and have 2 of those with hot water and pink himalayan salt, just a few grains, in the morning while the kettle is boiling

but too much of that will kick your butt i agree lol
some ppl say to take a couple tablespoons and that is waaay too much for me!

another thing i like to do, is make what i call spiced peas

just take the can of peas and put it all, juice included, in a container
then i add some white vinegar.. i just pour a bunch in
then i add spices.. i use garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric , pepper, oregano, paprika
i think thats all of them

then you just stir it up a bit, stick it in the fridge and have some whenever you have peas.

its good. i imagine you could do that with diff canned vegetables
even canned mushrooms.. i might do that, i have some of those open.

I'm assuming you use the spiced liquid to season stuff ~ I'm asking about the peas left in the jar...or perhaps you just add a portion of the peas to a peas dish??

when i have peas, i put them in a pot to heat up.
some of the juice goes in with that, so it wont burn in the pot lol

isnt that how other ppl heat up peas, or is it just me..?
