Then, my BFF since 2nd grade (and I'm 69, so you know it's a lifetime friendship) sent me this. I'd forgotten all about it. I drew this back in the early 80s, freehand! I think it's close to poster size. This is a pic of it hanging in her home.

I sewed face masks for covid. I had plenty of scraps left over. I recently used them to sew oven mitts and potholders.

Nice! I really want to pull out my sewing machine now. I think I shared a pic of some vintage fabric I bought a few years back. It's moved from a bag in a bin in the basement to a bag on a chair in my bedroom.

My daughter has an addiction for yarn. She has an 8’x10’ walk in closet that has more bags of yarn than Hobby Lobby. She sent me that picture above when I was laughing at her hoard.

Nice! I really want to pull out my sewing machine now. I think I shared a pic of some vintage fabric I bought a few years back. It's moved from a bag in a bin in the basement to a bag on a chair in my bedroom.

That fabric deserves to be shown off. In the mean time give it a good airing. The more time you have to look at it the more likely that you will sew something beautiful.

I like barn quilts.

Some people paint them, some people piece them from wood.

I like wood, so this is a miniature barn quilt made from pieces cut from fence pickets. At the moment it is just leaning against the wall above a window because I can't remember where I stashed the collection of picture hanging hardware.
