Just read that Trump has threatened the EU with 200% tariffs on alcohol.

Go for it Trump, Californian wine is lovely.

English GIN and Scottish whiskey is the best.

Russian vodka is what Russia is famous for.

Although I do like Italian wines, my preference.

Hello everyone,

Temperature drop again today, 49F. Grey clouds and some rain. Cold wind.

Chiropractor day today, then did the food shopping, having a drink a recover.

The drama of Farage -v- Lowe is still going on. It looks like it is going to end up in court unless Farage does a 180.

HQ have now told branch managers that the name Rupert Lowe isn't allowed to be mentioned or discussed.

No freedom of speech in the Reform party.

It's undoubtedly cheaper than the pill form ~ but even so, the pills are cheap compared to other meds these days.

I use this place:   https://www.virex.health/index.php?route...ct/product&product_id=53

About a dollar a 12mg pill.

I have given my children that link. The #3 son and I ordered from there. I'm not sure why the #2 son has not.
I still use the injectable for the animals. I don't do injections. The cows and pigs get it on a slice of bread. The dogs and cats get it mixed in a small bit of moist food.

Yeah ~ injections are for larger farm animals.  I did however, use diabetic insulin sized needles to extract the dose to the tenth of a milliliter and then just squirted it on their food.

That method was invaluable as I could give the EXACT dose for each pup rather than a "25 pound range" that's in the pre-prepped heartworm medication.  I had a Sheltie and the breed was very intolerant of overdosing on ivermectin.  My vet was amazed.  Chuckle  (He normally advised collies and shelties stay off the HW pills.)

I think the ivermectin also helped control other parasites ~ none of my dogs, after acquired, ever needed 'worming.'  Although, I am a zealous flea control person.

Another rant.  Please bear with me.

The results of the sigmoidoscopy reveal the lesion has not grown nor metastasized.  Of course the docs are  insisting radio therapy and surgery.  Since we have it seemingly under control and it's not spreading, what kind of quality of life would she have by adding the chemo at 61yo?

It just does not seem fair, nor believable.  As an island girl, raised in the jungle, she was not consuming processed food.  Her twin brother nor her sisters and parents have any history of CRC.  They say it is genetic.

I am over ten years older than my wife, smoked and drank most of my adult life.  Good God, as an apprentice, I was removing brake drums and blowing off the asbestos dust from the shoes, washing the wheel bearings in leaded gasoline in my bare hands with a cigarette dangling from my lips.
Approaching 74 years, I cannot understand this "cancer" shit.

If our present protocol gives her 20 years without invasive surgery, why do it?  If she were 30yo, this would be a different story.

Do I sound insensitive?  1dunno1

No.  On the contrary.

Keep with the testing, track the numbers and hit the alt-meds.    Heartflowers

It looks like Putin & Russia have rejected the 30 day cease fire as presented. He has kept the door open to continue efforts to seek acceptable terms.

In the end, I think Zelensky will try to prevent an agreement that concedes anything to Russia as he just can't grasp how weak his position is. Also, I would not trust Zelensky for 2 seconds to not try to use a cease fire to attempt to make some improvement to the tactical situation, even if that is just solidifying European support, with the intent of keeping the conflict going... 1dunno1

7 mins.
