I'll try to muster the courage to watch this later, my heart feels too sensitive ATM. I did watch a very short one the other day of a firefighter bringing a mans cat to him out of his burning home. Poor thing was panting so hard while the owner was applying water to his legs.

Saw the same ~ the owner actually alternated between mouth & legs ~ kedi was panting so hard he couldn't lap water.


There's a volunteer outfit based in Florida (cannot recall the name) that deploys during hurricane relief efforts to rescue stranded pets.  They set up a community shelter and post pics/ID to reunite owners.   They rescue anything with fur or feathers...or reptiles.  They have vets that join along, and also have sponsors for pet food, etc..
