from r/drones Just another Amazon delivery drone crash that they wouldn't want the faa or ntsb trying to investigate. The thing is still spinning after it crashes. Tight regulations on the hobby guy, but since Noone at the controls of an autonomous unit owned by a mega corporation just do as you please.

Let's shoot our own drone down that we can't even figure out is ours. Also, faa shuts down affected airspace in Texas.

Grounding the biggest sector of the drone industry was a brilliant idea by the government.
https://dronexl.co/2026/03/03/faa-resear...platforms/ Most states have lost billions to the DJI political football ban. https://dronexl.co/2026/03/03/oregon-exp...t-dji-ban/ ![]() Being politically correct doesn't just cost taxpayers, it may screw the whole hog.

I suspect the idiots that want to be able to cut off our bank accounts with a click of a mouse don't want us to have that kind of power with something like a drone?
Typical government hypocrisy. They think anything that voids them of more power over us is some kind of national security threat, manufactured in China. Kind of like saying math is racist. Math doesn't have any human qualities, it is a basic logic sphere, it's only because the people that think it is racist, is because they can't do math. |
