Cats are cool. They are living proof the earth is a globe. If the earth was flat, they'd already have everything knocked off of it.

I think I read that on a meme somewhere.

If you are a kitten, everything is a ball....They get it from their folks.  If God was a Kitten, Earth would be bouncing off and into distant Universes every second of the day.

Yeah, very true if they are allowed to go outside.  Ours are all indoor; all 5 of them.

And before ya'll start referring to me as "the crazy cat lady", all were Rescues.  One literally just showed up out here in the country, from who knows where, asking to be let in.  She was a six month old kitten, who almost immediately went into heat.  THAT was an expensive Vet bill.

Another (our most recent member), was abandoned in her home with 4 others, for 6 months, after her human was taken to a nursing home.  She is a Calico, they named Patches, but we call Patty.  The previous owner's son came down from Portland to get the house ready for sale and posted a picture of her on Facebook.  Turned out they lived right down the road from us.

Another was rescued from the animal shelter after living there for 2 years, being dropped off as a kitten.  I guess nobody but me wanted an all black ragdoll.  She hid under our bed for almost a month, only coming out to use the cat box in the bathroom.  She was a black blur, dashing back and forth.  Slowly she came to trust us, and one Saturday afternoon while we were laying down for a nap, she took a leap of faith, jumped up on the bed, and reigns there to this day.

We have many windows with cat perches to watch the many birds and ground squirrels cavorting about our property.  They love their live-action kitty tv, and remain flea free!

Very sweet!  What are their names? Is the white one deaf? I've read they often are.

Oh not at all. Her name is Aurora and she can hear just fine. The sound of food hitting the bowl will summon her two floors away. The other one (her sister) is Hermy. It's possible to not see her for days. She only moves at night.

Here's our Ollie.  He was being given away outside our local grocery store along with his kitten siblings.  The little boy giving them away told my Husband that "he's very adventurous"    He was right.  This is a typical pose for him.
