This is lovely, dogs choosing someone from a crowded room of people that would like to adopt a dog. 

Absolutely DELIGHTFUL!!

I had that happen to me one time.

Was visiting a friend that fostered dogs.  Sadie, the Shetland Sheep Dog jumped into my lap.  My friend said that I didn't know how rare that was, for a sheltie to do that.  (They tend to be one-person dogs.)  I took her home a week later ~ she was just shy of a year old.

She was extremely obedient and was the dog most in-tune with me I ever had.  She lived to 14 and succumbed to Cushing's Disease.

  Miss her to this day.
