@Munch Is there a workaround?
snip:
A widely used digital certificate used to verify secure internet connections expires on Sept. 30, and millions of older devices won't be able to update to install newer certificates.

I'm running Windows XP SP3 and it states that there shouldn't be a problem but evidently there still is. Foxfire is very sluggish so I use SRWare Iron. Daj suggests Linux but would rather not at this time.
If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

I would also recommend Linux Mint - maybe install as 'dual-boot' at least at first so you can boot either Win or Lin on start-up...
But if you right click the image at original site - click 'save image as'...
Save it to pictures folder and name it...
Then to post, while writing in the editor widow (opens from reply/post button), look up to the menu bar and click the 'imgur' button black box white i...
That takes you to your picture folder - click the named image and (lower right) click the 'Open' button...
That uploads to imgur and places the code and address for it into your post - rinse and repeat for multiple image posts...
That should work around...
I do not know everything, I know just enough to know that I know nothing - which is just a little more than those who think they know anything!

In the meme thread you added this after saying to use the imgur button:
ETA: I don't advise this if you don't have high protection from hack etc...
did I read this wrong?

If you are running virus protection - which may be why you didn;t get the warning I did - you should be fine, you already visited and clicked there anyway...
