How to stop google and Alexa always listening function?
https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/disable...assistant/ Open up the case. Take google or Alexa out. Replace with raspberry pi and some software. Rename the device. Glue it all back together. Voila!

Is there any HAM radio or Linux or raspberry YouTube channels you recommend? I'm interested in the subjects and wouldn't even know where to start. I think a pi is like a TEC for air-conditioning on a network. There's so much I know nothing about man. Bitcoins and puts and dunno man ,as soon as I feel like no longer an amateur, I feel like I lost something else or I find something else I need to know more about so much to learn

Where do you want to start? Raspberry pi runs on Linux, and it has its’ own version raspbian a derivative of Debian. But with your copy of Windows 10, you can make a choked down copy for your raspberry pi. Most of the stuff on RPi is going to be on Linux. Discover Linux and you’ll wonder why you even bother with world domination software from Micro$oft. I’m not sure about a good source for getting up to speed on passing your FCC test, (ARRL maybe) but many RPis are doing software defined radio.

TEC is a terminal equipment controller for variable air volume boxes, it talks rs 485 to other controllers and throttles a damper to dump 55 degree air in a room and keep it at setpoint usually 70 to 75 degrees. Or turn on stages of heat and dump that in a space If you see a thermostat in a gov building, hospital or university, it's attached to one up above the grid within about 25 feet. Very simple input output and canned code driven by basic. No more than 30 units on a trunk. I got a friend trying to use a raspberry to run a mill he codes though in like 7 languages so I only barely know basic but I know enough to ask.

Usually something specific to the CNC machine and some can change tools while milling. Superman movie and knight rider showed snippets of BASIC so could home computers. The intel 8086 was a project IC made popular by Bill Gates and the QD-DOS. Now a raspberry pi is the home project board. RS232C was developed back in 1969 with only send, receive, and (reference) ground. Raspberry pi has three wire serial I/O. You can even use a breadboard with the GPIO. |
