As this thread is so large ~ there is a considerable LAG in loading ~ my count is about 5 seconds.

I was thinking...

I can archive the thread and start anew so the tavern is zippy once again.

What say you?

I would agree and we should do the same (again) with the old Q thread and archive it - this and that thread over 12.000 posts +/- are taking FIVE times longer to load than any other...

Any of the last post that people want to reply to is easy from the Archive subFurum - just copy the post - go to the continuation thread, paste it in and reply to it - should be back on track in two or three days, when people have caught up...

Good morning everyone.

5 seconds lag time? OMG!    Sorry, I haven't noticed. But if it is a concern, there would be no harm in archiving the two largest threads and start fresh. When the Q thread was archived in BTF v. 1.0 it seemed to take on a new life and focus. More members felt comfortable posting there as it was less restrictive in content. Just my opinion.
