I found and learnt a very interesting thing this evening. The new neighbour was having trouble with his tractor while tilling up his land next to ours. I stopped my work and offered help because i could. He told me that he was not accepting help. So we asked him why. It seems that they just moved on the farm next door after leaving Russia 3 years ago, i learnt they did so after getting a loan to move here , and after 2 years of doing near slave work they then could get the land loan which was from the same folks they worked for, just to buy a small piece of a farm and move here. They are scared because they are displaced from Russia and are now seen as being bad people because of were they were born and how they are viewed. I spent most of the evening making a fool of myself trying on trying speaking a language i know very little about. We did fix his tractor. 

At our place we do run one of the biggest, ranch, farms in our country so we have a sense duty and also people speak . Perhaps us folks and all folks need to stop and think - by the people and for the people. My point is there are very great people and families in the ukraine and Russia that don't need war or politics. If anyone thinks that every dispaced person that is from Russia is any different, then we are wrong

Folks seldom take issue with folks that work.

It's the same with 'illegals' ~ or even guest workers that come here legally on agricultural worker visas.  They'll work longer and show up on time every day.

It's the ones that abuse the system, push drugs and do the gang thing that draw ire.

Sounds like ya' have a neighbor & family you're going to come to know much better!   

They are from Russia. Mainstrem Media and social media even local people are so caught up in the War for the Ukraine we often forget war hurts people! Take off the cloaks of politics, strip the sensation of media and you find very human people just want a better life. Yes even people from Russia

The good people of Eastern Europe and Russia have had it bad for a very long time.

A shame actually as that area is the bread basket of the continent.

imo, in this instance, politically, Vlad is not the bad guy.  Zelensky & NATO refused a peace deal early on ~ the governments and power brokers want war more than they want peace ~ no money to be made in that.

But as you point out, in the meantime it's the people that suffer.

Too bad the world doesn't run on C&B rules ~ we don't care where yer from, what ya' look like, your economic status or your age...let alone skin color or gender.  Ya' just gotta' play well with others and not shit in the sandbox.

Good morning, 

He had a lovely run this morning, sky is half sunshine and half grey clouds. Nice temperature for him not to hot. 

He's having a snooze now while I have my breakfast. 

The water aerobics was a bit too energetic for me, 45 mins non-stop. I stopped early to go to dog class and he did great. He has really settled into class 2. 

So I am staying with yoga and swimming for now. The yoga is much more restful has the teacher is very mindful of us oldies.

Pence doesn't seem to have a platform to speak on. He seems to be lost. The way he reacts has no get up and go. A person may think that he does not understand why the USA came into being judging by his lack of understanding of simple things like the creation of the United States Constitution which is the world's longest surviving written charter of government. “We The People”  should affirm that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. Pence is a lot like Biden both ignore the actual reality of that statement.

Pence is a cowardly follower, not a fearless leader, IMHO.
