I carry a pistol everywhere I go except when I pick up grandson at his school. Firearms are forbidden on any part of school property, even the parking lot and car lanes. But I think I may start keeping one on my person now all the time. I don’t expect any trouble there but we live 5 miles from school. If terrorists decide to put up a roadblock then we couldn’t do anything to protect ourselves.

Speaking of guns and schools. My wife was a teacher when we lived in Las Vegas. I got off work most everyday around 2 pm as I went early to beat the heat. My wife called me and asked if I could bring a few things she needed from home. So gathered the things and went to the school that was just a mile and a half from our house. I go into the school and everyone there knew me and let me into the main school class room area.  

When I sat back down in my truck beads of sweat broke out on my head. Not because of the heat but because I realized I had my conceal carry on me!
