A couple of people loved my puppy thread on a different forum and our progress, the building of his medication kit, home made treats etc. Pics anything else felt appropriate. Lovely dog stories.

While I was putting my puppies first aid kit together, I found some of the things that I bought for him were not only good for him but good for me too.

So I shall start this off of where we are now. The Cockapoo will be 8 months old next week. I'd like to take a pic of him with his frog toy in a Christmas hat, but he won't sit still long enough for me to get the camera out when he has it hanging from his mouth.  Chuckle

This is a pic of us together when he was 7 months old.

Where we are now is that he has already begun having Diatomaceous Earth in his water some days. I give him just a little,1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon. DE is basically trace mineral, silica, that they put in Collagen supplements. We and the animals must not inhale it. It can be used in the garden on your plants and can also be used to destroy any eggs from fleas.

I've still to try it myself. So if any of you have been taking it or have been giving it to your dogs or other animals, please share.

Dr Jones, the Holistic vet from Canada did a great video on it and I think I might have posted that on the Health, Science and Nutrition thread prior to not accessing BTF, I will take a look, if not, I will go find it and post it on this thread.

What you can find in your garden? I ordered some of this for my puppies first aid kit, I sprinkle some in his food sometimes, you can make tea from it for humans to drink.

The Humble Herb

Good for any intestinal, respiratory or skin issues.

It has been used in Greece since ancient times.

PLANTAR MAJOR aka known as Plantain.
